Here is a sweet little sample of how powerful Augmented Reality can be. I’ve seen examples of New-York, then London, and now Paris. Augmented Reality will be the next big thing. Unfortunately to all 2G or 3G users, this only works with a 3Gs (compass and power mandatory)…The app is available in the AppStore for 0,79€. Expect more clever uses of this technology with firmware version 3.1 due soon.

Well, kids, we don’t know if this is a typo, a Freudian slip, or both (or neither), but according to this handy graphic on Rogers’ website the rumored 8GB iPhone 3GS exists — if not for sale, at least for comparison. Keen readers of charts will note that the price listed for the 3GS still starts with the 16GB model, and if you scroll through to the ordering page there is no 8GB 3GS option listed. So, what do you think? Do we have a promising development here, or a simple case of a misplaced check mark? Feel free to sound off in the comments.

Update: Yeah, that’s right: An email from Rogers has confirmed that it is just a typo after all, and that it’s “being corrected asap.”

If you send a picture per email with your brand new iPhone 3Gs and its 3 MP camera, all the pictures will be downsized to 800×640 pixels.. What a bummer! Well there is a workaround, hench this article: in the album view, use the share button at your bottom left, then copy the images you’d like to send and paste them in a new email…tata….full res. attachments

Went to see how this first day of 3Gs at Vox was going on and met vitovox, still there, busy selling iPhones, the new 3Gs, to happy customers waiting patiently in line. He’s there since 7am this morning, wanted to see how “fresh” he still was

It’s only a few minutes ago that Luxgsm published it’s iPhone 3Gs packages. We can see that the monthly fee is exactly the same as Vox applies, as it was in the past. The two offers currently differ on the price we have to pay to get the new iPhone. With the 50Euro/month package the iPhone 3Gs 16Gb is at 90Euro with Vox and 49Euro with Luxgsm. Another difference is in the packages itself. Vox offers free and unlimited Wifi access to Vox’s Hotspots while Luxgsm doesn’t include Wifi access.
