You know how rumours work? They are contagious, as soon as something appears somewhere, everybody talks about it.

The rumor we bring you today is… A new device from Apple. What? This isn’t new? You already heard this one? Well, actually this time to back it up (and increase its credibility, somehow) there is an image taken from a Chinese website. Here it is, for your curious eyes:

What you can see in this post is a SIM Tray. A tray labelled as “iPhone 4 generation / iTabled SIM Tray”, supposedly made to fit a device we don’t know yet about. The Chinese website let’s his customers order it, most probably as spare parts, in case you lost it. Well, for the moment we only know where to find the tray if lost, it’s the device itself that we don’t know where to find ;)

Let’s see how this rumor develops…

Although this news is not really “iPhonesque”, it has still to do with mobile phones and Luxembourg, but more important, your phone bill!

iphone_danger

It has been reported by Station.lu that an international call scam originating from Italy is currently hitting mobile users in Luxembourg. This happens when you receive a call from an international number, they say from Italy (00393193260011 although similar numbers have been reported and 0039 is the country code for Italy), your phone rings once, maybe twice and then the call drops. Probably curious to see who was trying to contact you, “was that handsome guy (or nice girl) I met last summer, having a non-alcoholic cocktail at that beach bar when the sun was going down and the breeze…” (Going off topic), so you ring back. And there’s the catch! Some sources report that the call to that (those) numbers could be charged at up to 10Euros/min. Although I’m a bit skeptical it could be so expensive (thinking more at 1Euro and something per minute) it’s still best to avoid ringing unknown people when you see a missed international call.

And as they say in Italy “Uomo avvisato, mezzo salvato” (literally, the one who has been warned has been half saved).

Thanks to L. Verreck for the hint!

Can this be the rumored iTablet?

itablet

Relax, this is just a rendering from Gizmodo, but apparently people that know people, that know people, that know other people that may be in the meetings possibly talking about upcoming products…  Well…  They say that it could look like a “big iPhone”.

We all know that nothing is sure before it’s on the market but as of the rumors circulating now, this marvel could sport the same look as our current iPhone, included the black resin back and the home button, and either be  the “webcam model” or “without webcam model”, with a 10” screen.

Price? Availability? Maybe a bit too soon to say this but these same sources talk about “The Holidays” (guess they mean Christmas) with a possible price of 700$-900$.

The only sure thing we now know is that we don’t know anything for sure about this.
